TIMELINE FOR SERVICES

When developing instruction for online delivery, all course elements are normally developed prior to the beginning of the course. Developing online learning assets can be very time consuming for first-time instructors. Consequently, we recommend applying for consultation services no less than 8-12 weeks prior to your proposed course's expected launch date.

Although we will make every effort to accommodate all who need our services, our consultation clients will be taken on a first come, first served basis. Consultation services will be scheduled around the workload of the instructional design team and will not exceed 8 total hours. PEC consultation services cannot be guaranteed based on current team workload, scope of consultation needed, and timeliness of application submission.

Questions related to design and instruction should be addressed to the instructional design team at idonline@purdue.edu.
